FACULTY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION, SPORT AND HEALTH

Appreciating the 34-year tradition of the Faculty of Physical Education at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, I can proudly say that it is the oldest and the most reputable scientific and educational institution regarding the field of Kinesiology in the Republic of Macedonia. Since its foundation, the successful work of the Faculty is primarily based on the outstanding potentials of the staff, who has managed to implement a large number of study programmes on undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level. Regarding the above mentioned, the main imperative, or mission of the Faculty is to:

– improve the quality of the educational services,

– create high quality competitive staff for the labour market in our country and abroad, and

– promote the educational level of the entire population in Macedonia (first of all in the domain of Kinesiology).

Students are the foundation for existence of every higher education institution, which is the case for our Faculty, too. As equal members of the Academic community, we incessantly try to be in the first place and of first importance. The young colleagues are regarded as a value in which we invest effort and knowledge. This way we are positive that, upon graduation, they will successfully represent our Faculty in every sphere of social life, thus being our best ambassadors. Finally, I would like to congratulate all current and coming students on the right choice of a higher education institution, with wishes for a successful academic life.
